Club Watch uses Venue Security Corporation’s proprietary Wi-Wire™ data acceleration and encryption technology, which dramatically speeds up the ID checking process and encrypts all data with encryption that is much stronger than the 128-bit encryption used by banks.
This means that Club Watch's wireless transaction speeds and wireless reliability are comparable to the speed, security and reliability of network devices that are hard-wired to a venue’s local area network (LAN). As a result, even with a slow dial-up modem and average Internet congestion, the system has proven to consistently complete each ID swipe transaction in less than three seconds, and usually between one and two seconds.
